FORMAT13 Grand Finale

The event will celebrate the conclusion of the FORMAT FESTIVAL, bringing together members of the photography, art, music and wider communities for an evening of eating, drinking, visual storytelling, film and music Hosted by Slideluck London and ft. the premier of a performance from The Developer.

Taking place inside our Chocolate Factory FORMAT exhibition featuring over 25 artists and interactive photography, Louise Clements (Director of FORMAT) and Maria Teresa Salvati (Director of Slideluck London) have created a wonderful evening including a potluck-style dinner and an eclectic programme of 20+ photofilms from international artists, curated by Monica Allende (Photo Editor of The Sunday Times Magazine and founder of the pioneering Spectrum section). Bring a dish for the potluck dinner, please detail clearly all ingredients used in homemade food.

The Developer, is a unique multi-artist residency responding to the Derwent Valley Mills World Heritage Site at John Smedley for FORMAT13. The newly formed group will perform the premier of a brand-new live performance led by musician John Parish and film maker Gavin Bush using a combination of still photography, archive images, new film and live music. Featuring: Seb Rochford (drums), Catherine Graindorge (violin), Cory Mwamba (vibraphone), Pete Judge (trumpet). A new commission for the Derwent Valley Mills World Heritage Site as part of FORMAT13 supported by John Smedley, Cally, QUAD and Arts Council England. For more info visit: www.thedeveloper.cc
