The National Portrait Gallery have collaborated with BT in the 'Road to 2012' project to create 100 photographic portraits celebrating the people around the UK as a record of the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games. Brian Griffin, internationally renowned photographer, has been commissioned for the first body of work. Griffin's images draw from classical sculpture, nineteenth century symbolism and B-movies to create photographs of great strength and stillness.
