No Parking is a collective of artists working in different disciplines. It is concerned with the ethic of making uncompromising art, but still maintaining a working agenda concerned with process rather than simply the product.
No Parking artists are approaching the theme of the festival, Photocinema, using a variety of media, not just photographic or film based. Thus subverting the art form expectations built by the theme and the Festival.
Due to their accessibility in everyday life, be it family snapshots or home movies, photography and cinema have become creative media with popular and populist reputations. No Parking aims to use its creative diversity to surprise whilst exploring the moving and still image in unexpected settings.
