As part of this years festival Format will be staging a two day professional practice event featuring presentations and one-to-one portfolio reviews. Due to generous support from Arts Council England we are able to offer these at a subsidised rate.

Curators, commissioners, publishers and picture agencies will talk about their work with photographers and share their knowledge of the professional image-making world. This insight will be invaluable to practitioners at all stages of their careers.

One-to-One Portfolio Reviews

Price £5 per 20 minute review

Time 10am – 4pm

Reviewers have been selected because of their knowledge and experience of different areas of contemporary photographic practice. When booking please consider which reviewer will be most relevant to you, your practice and your future aspirations. Each review will last 20 minutes and booking is essential. You can book up to a maximum of 4 reviews.

Please Note These Reviews are aimed at photographers and artists with a developed and serious approach to their practice. On this occasion we will not be seeing work by students.

Please consider how best to present your work in the time available.

Reviews will start on the hour and on the half hour at the following times:
10.00, 10.30, 11.00, 11.30, 12.00, 13.30, 14.00, 14.30, 15.00, 15.30.

Please specify your preferred start time when booking but note this cannot be guaranteed.
