To conclude the two days of special FORMAT events, Metro Cinema, Derby’s only independent cinema, is screening the acclaimed film It’s Nice Up North (U). This hilarious spoof documentary helmed by renowned photographer Martin Parr in which John Shuttleworth tries to see if it really is more friendly in the North. He goes to the Shetland Islands; quite logically as it’s as far north as you can get, and asks everyone “is it nice up North?” As if you need to ask! Graham Fellows (AKA John Shuttleworth) will be personally introducing the film and do a live post screening Q&A. Early booking is highly recommended.
